"expanding the reach of digital media"
Ranked among the top 10 public accounting firms, Reznick Group employs more than 1,500 people in 10 offices nation-wide. Having doubled their work force in the past two years, communication between Reznick Group offices and employees is an increasing challenge for the firm. Reznick Group wanted to solve this problem via a video services solution that would facilitate on-demand, firm-wide communication and fully integrate with their existing intranet/network.
Working with the Reznick Group marketing, communications and IT departments, the Open Box team created a collection of powerful web-based content portals for publishing employee training videos, webcasts, recruiting and internal communications videos. Dubbed “RezTube”, the portals are accessible to Reznick Group employees via their existing intranet and extranet. Using their SesameVault administrative accounts, Reznick Group communications and marketing departments are able to easily upload, manage, and publish any video to RezTube for viewing by all offices and employees in mere minutes.

This multinational imaging product manufacturer was in need of a solution to drive video services on an extranet website that serves a network of over 5,000 printer and photocopier dealers and sales representatives. Specifically, the website provides a continually updated repository of product information and sales materials including an increasing collection of product demonstration videos, many of which are produced by the dealers and reps.
Working with this customer’s IT team, Open Box integrated and launched a complete video storage, management and publishing solution from within their extranet website in under 60 days. Dubbed the “Demorama” system, it enables dealers and reps to upload product demonstration videos with descriptive metadata directly from their web browsers; no need to download or install software of any kind. Using their administrative accounts, managers are able to review all submitted videos before they are published to the Demorama system and made accessible to all 5,000 dealers and reps.

The Barbarian Group, in partnership with The Junior High Men is using Open Box's SesameVault video storage, management and distribution platform to power a first-of-its kind web reality show, The2Husbands.com. The2Husbands revolves around two young men - Zach and Tanner - who have offered themselves up for marriage to any girl who 1) uploads a compelling video explaining why they would make a good bride and 2) garners the most votes from their peers. Oh yeah, and the winning gals get $50,000 each.
Using the SesameVault API, The Barbarian Group was able to integrate SesameVault-powered video services into The2Husbands website on a tight deadline. In addition to handling the storage and streaming of videos, the implementation included features to allow participants to upload videos, regardless of format, right from their browser. Using SesameVault’s built-in privacy settings, administrators may review and approve video submissions to The2Husbands before they are made available to visitors at large.
